According to Wikipedia, the requirements for the original APB are:

System requirements

Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7
2 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 7900; 256MB VRAM or better
15 GB hard disk space
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz

Recommended

Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7
3 GB RAM
Nvidia 8600 or better
Intel Core 2 Quad

That's for the original, although they probably both run on the same graphics engine thing.
